What is the best way to determine ring size?
The most accurate way to learn your ring size is to visit at least one jeweler. Try on a ring in the width you intend on purchasing. It is best to avoid any remake fees. See

Can I get something engraved on the exterior of the ring?
Yes it is possible, but it is not offered free. To find out about pricing,

Can I supply my own stone to be set in a diamond ring or a tension setting?
Yes this is possible. All stones sent to Avalon diamonds & jewelry must have a minimum Mohs hardness of 7, be diamond cuts, and loose. All diamonds should be sent with a copy of the stone’s certification. Avalon diamonds & jewelry has the right to refuse to set a stone, if we believe the quality is too poor to withstand the tension of a certain setting.
Contact us by email or phone, before sending out a stone.
What’s the best way to send a diamond or precious stone?
To send a diamond or precious stone to us, use FedEx or the US postal service’s Express. Don’t send it by UPS. (US residents ship to our NY address) For residents in Canada or overseas, send FedEx to our Canadian location. Send the stone with a printout of the filled in order form, for the ring model chosen.
How durable are Cubic Zirconias?
Cubic Zirconias are fairly durable but not the most ideal stone for a tension setting. They are only meant to be a temporary stone. They look very nice and last for a while, but eventually they will crack or develop scratches. We will replace cracked Cubic Zirconias in rings made by Avalon diamonds & jewelry any time, free of charge, however there is a shipping cost of $6 USD. For customers looking for a more permanent stone, a harder stone would be preferred. (ie: Diamond, Sapphire or Ruby).
Are cracked stones covered in your warranty?
Avalon diamonds & jewelry is not liable for damages occurring to stones once they are in the possession of the customer. The harder stones (Diamond, Sapphire, Ruby) generally will not crack. This question refers mainly to the softer stones such as Amethyst, Garnet and Tourmeline. These stones are fairly inexpensive and if well cared for will last a very long time, but if a ring gets banged hard or dropped they can very well crack. In this event the ring can be returned to Avalon diamonds & jewelry, the customer can either supply their own stone or purchase one from us. It is important that the new stone be the same diameter as the original.
Can you set lab-created diamonds in your titanium tension settings?
Only in prong settings and closed settings. We have tried setting Moissonites and Nexus "lab-created diamonds" in titanium tension settings, but their molecular structure makes them weak, they crack very easily when set in a tension setting. Even though their MOHS hardness is comparable to a real diamond, they are not suitable for titanium tension settings.
